Thank you to Adopt-a-Pet and Bayer Advantage for a generous donation of Advantage II flea prevention for our SOCA foster cats! Adopt-a-Pet and Bayer announced the grant in June in honor of Adopt-a-Shelter-Cat Month. Only 30 shelters and rescues across the US were awarded a total of $100,000 in product!
One of BISSELL Pet Foundation’s focus areas is helping to reduce the number of homeless dogs and cats through their spay/neuter grants. In August 2021, SOCA was awarded a very generous grant of $6,995 to spay and neuter our rescued dogs and cats. We appreciate our partnership with BISSELL!
PetSmart Charities committed up to $2 million to support pets and people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. As part of PetSmart’s Emergency Relief program, SOCA-FBC received a generous unrestricted donation in March 2021 that enabled us to cover additional medical and adoption expenses incurred during the pandemic. We appreciate our partnership with PetSmart!
Petco Love (previously Petco Foundation) has been a strong supporter of SOCA-FBC over the past few years. In April of 2021, they again showed their generosity with an $8,000 grant. We're using the funds to care for the significant increase in animals that we've saved since the COVID-19 pandemic. We appreciate our partnership with Petco!
