Adopt-a-Pet awards Advantage II cat flea prevention to SOCA

Thank you to Adopt-a-Pet and Bayer Advantage for a generous donation of Advantage II flea prevention for our SOCA foster cats! Adopt-a-Pet and Bayer announced the grant in June in honor of Adopt-a-Shelter-Cat Month. Only 30 shelters and rescues across the US were awarded a total of $100,000 in product!

BISSELL Pet Foundation awards SOCA spay/neuter grant

One of BISSELL Pet Foundation’s focus areas is helping to reduce the number of homeless dogs and cats through their spay/neuter grants. In August 2021, SOCA was awarded a very generous grant of $6,995 to spay and neuter our rescued dogs and cats. We appreciate our partnership with BISSELL!

PetSmart Charities committed up to $2 million to support pets and people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. As part of PetSmart’s Emergency Relief program, SOCA-FBC received a generous unrestricted donation in March 2021 that enabled us to cover additional medical and adoption expenses incurred during the pandemic.
