Carolyn Apura, President

Carolyn became interim president in August 2023. She was elected president in March 2024. She was instrumental in resuming SOCA dog and cat transport activities.

Brenda Wile, VP NEW!

Brenda has volunteered with SOCA for a number of years. She has fostered over 100 pets through to adoption. In addition to fostering, Brenda has worked with the transport team to help move our rescues to areas where homeless pets are welcomed.

Her main focus has been puppies and feral dogs. “I love working with ferals – It is the greatest gift to gain the trust of a dog who has spent its life being afraid.”

Kelly Adams, Treasurer

Kelly has served as treasurer since the beginning of SOCA in 2015. She ensures professional accounting guidelines for SOCA financial reporting and provides data for grant submissions.

Cathi Vann, Secretary

Cathi has served as secretary since the beginning of 2022. She ensures the smooth functioning of leadership meetings and maintaining important records.
