Job Overview:
This is a VOLUNTEER position. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating with the SOCA-FBC administration team to set dates and places for weekly adoption events. To be successful in this role you will need to be able to communicate effectively and professionally in a variety of methods including telephone, email, and Facebook Messenger, with a variety of people, and be willing to work closely with the community.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Coordinate with the administration team and the fosters on upcoming events.
- Lead at least 1 event a month.
- Ensure each event has a dog and cat lead (crates and tables if needed) and remind fosters to attend.
- Send Sign Up Genius to the foster families and SOCA website events person.
- Create and post events on our social media page.
- Troubleshoot any hiccups with sign up genius.
- Make a collage and post attendance on our social media page.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to complete tasks within a specified time frame
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Previous experience is a plus
- Training will be provided
Time Commitment:
Up to 5-10 hours per week, as needed.
Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older with reliable transportation. Telephone, Computer with internet access.
Compensation:
This is a volunteer position. Service hours may be granted for your role.
