SOCA-FBC Announces New Animal Transport Van!

Thanks to the generous support from the Petco Foundation, Pedigree Foundation, Houston PetSet, Corvette Owners Club of Houston, and other charitable organizations, we were able to purchase our own transport van during the 2019/2020 winter season and to set up adoption partnerships in locations outside of Texas.

Our van will take homeless animals from the Fort Bend County area, where we have a surplus of homeless animals, to northern areas of the country that have a shortage of adoptable animals.

Having our own van enables us to save more lives at considerably less cost. The van can transport an average of 30 animals per trip.
While arranging for the van purchase, we started to establish relationships with out-of-state animal rescues.

We delayed official announcement of our van, due to months of pandemic travel restrictions. We’re now able to plan our first transport in early fall.
