Winter 2019/2020 the Petco Foundation awarded SOCA $10,000 toward the purchase of a transport van that will allow us to move homeless dogs and cats from Ft. Bend Co. (where we have a surplus) to other locations in northern states (where they have a need).
Petco’s grant was significant, in that it enabled us to start the process of purchasing and outfitting a transport van. That started us on our path to realize our transport program goal.
