Saving Our Companion Animals – Fort Bend County (SOCA-FBC) and Happy Faces Pet Ranch (HFPR) have joined forces to save even more homeless pets in the Fort Bend County and Greater Houston Area. SOCA-FBC is a foster based rescue, and HFPR houses homeless dogs at an on-site location. The partnership will allow the two organizations to respond to dogs at risk, address their needs, and place them into forever homes in a quicker and more efficient manner.

“Collaboration with Happy Faces Pet Ranch is a unique opportunity to be able to leverage what both organizations do best in order to save as many lives as possible.” said Rita Garretson, President of SOCA-FBC.

SOCA-FBC will become the primary caretaker of all the animals and will care for their needs and find them homes, while Happy Faces Pet Ranch will become the lodging location for dogs that do not have an immediate foster or adopter. Having a facility for homeless dogs will provide the opportunity for future growth of both organizations.

Cash donations, supplies, foster families, and especially volunteers at the Ranch will continue to help both organizations thrive and help more homeless pets in our community.
