Rosenberg, TX April 13, 2019 – Saving Our Companion Animals of Fort Bend County, TX (SOCA-FBC) announced it has been awarded a $14,000 grant from the Petco Foundation to support our mission to save and improve the lives of homeless pets in Fort Bend County.

The Petco Foundation investment will help to provide medical care and support for our dog and cat adoption programs while we get pets ready for a loving family.

“Many pets are brought into rescue requiring medical care and basic vetting before being made available for adoption.  Many are underage, seniors, injured, or needing training that would not do well in a shelter setting.  This grant enables us to put those pets into foster homes to address their special needs and make them ready for adoption” said Rita L Garretson, President.
